Because this lens is the world's first large aperture zoom in the market. Most people use this lens on the GH4 with the Metabones Speedbooster. Why? Because with the SpeedBooster, this lens becomes a crazy f/1.2 zoom. It's a perfect combo for GH4. But A lot of people been testing this lens with the GH4. But personally, I would like to see how it performs with the Sony A7R Mark II. Since the A7RII is a Super 35mm camera. So this APS-C lens works just fine with the 4K A7RII.
