| Video Discription | This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe mid-size 3-row SUV. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder with an 8-speed wet dual clutch transmission, 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft. of torque, standard AWD in Canada. In the US, FWD and AWD drive options are available. You can put regular fuel in this Santa Fe. There is also a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid model with a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder, a 6-speed automatic transmission with a combined 231 horsepower and 271 lb-ft. of torque. We’ll be focusing on the gas model in our video and will do a separate review for the hybrid. Standard 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe features include, dual 12.3” screens, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, 7-passenger seating, leatherette upholstery, 8-way power and heated front seats, driver seat lumbar support, a heated steering wheel, sunroof and smart liftgate. In the US not all these features are standard like the 12.3” digital driver display, instead it’s a 4.2” display, heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, standard cloth, power front seats and a heated steering wheel. These features are available. A bench seat is offered on all 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe trims except the top trim, captain’s chairs are standard. This 6-7 passenger SUV is priced competitively. In Canada, 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT (our test model) starts at $49,724 CAD, Luxury $52,724 CAD and Ultimate Calligraphy $56,224 CAD. These prices include, freight, PDI and fees. In the US the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe SE FWD/AWD $33,950 USD/$35,750 USD, SEL FWD/AWD $36,450 USD/$38,250 USD, XRT AWD $40,600 USD, Limited FWD/AWD $43,350 USD/$45,150 USD and Calligraphy FWD/AWD $46,500 USD/$48,300 USD. 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe AWD fuel economy, 12.1L/100 km, 20 MPG city and 8.8L/100 km, 28 MPG highway. The gas model can tow 3500 pounds and the XRT trim a little more at 4500 pounds. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT is the more outdoor focused model in the Santa Fe lineup. It’s priced really well for a 7-passenger SUV at $49,724 CAD/$40,600 USD. Canadian pricing includes, freight, PDI and fees. The exterior has 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT design elements including a more rugged looking front skid plate and rear bumper, XRT side-door cladding, XRT badging, a black grille and 18” wheels with all-terrain tires. Compared to other Santa Fe models, the XRT can tow an extra 1,000 pounds at 4500 pounds and also has extra ground clearance of 1.3” at 8.3”. The interior of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is clean and modern with plenty of storage. It only comes with a black leatherette option but has some nice standard features including a bench seat, the larger dual 12.3” screens with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a single wireless charger, conventional sunroof, heated and powered front seats, a heated steering wheel, a smart lift gate and a tire repair kit. In the US, not all these features are standard like a heated steering wheel, a power passenger seat, heated steering wheel and the 12.3” digital driver display.
