The most mentally, physically, and emotionally humbling experience I have ever had so far, but I have learned so much more in just a few days than several weeks could have taught me in pre-clerkship. The attending and residents weren't mean at all, but this experience quickly allows you to sympathize with just how hard the entire medical team works to make sure that patients get the best care possible.
