This all original Model A is ready to roll in all of its glory of a combination of classy style, and the comfort of a 1929 Ford. Built in the limited years of 1928-1931, these were an affordable answer to the onset of the American Depression for the average American to still be able to afford a motor vehicle. Considered one of the most popular cars of its era, over 4.8 million Model A's were sold during this period. The average price on one ranged from $500, to $1200 for the high end Town Car models. This Model A was kept in original condition, opposed to the popular styling of these being chopped and turned into street rods. The engine is an original 201 Cubic Inch Flathead Inline 4 cylinder, capable of power ranging at 40 Horsepower. Fitted to a 3-speed manual transmission with floor shifter, this also comes with the standard single speed reverse gear. This Model A has not been converted over to a 12 volt system, so this one is equipped with the original throttle control and ignition advance/retard controls. This also comes equipped with a fiberglass trunk box, so you can take this out into town for all of your day-to-day business as well.
