It leaves a void in our lives and makes us long for the moments we will never share again. The impact of death can be confusing and bring chaos to our once happy lives. We miss the love and strength we received from our beloved and the special occasions become a reminder that they are no longer with us. We struggle to come to terms with the memories and the realization that life will never be the same again. However, even in their absence, our loved ones are still very near and we must find the courage and strength to move forward with hope for the future. The pain may never fully heal, but we keep them close to us through the memories, and learn from all that was shared. But also a poem of love to my little sister Irene, the most wonderful person I've ever known, that left this world in 2018 just a few months after the release of "Immortalys."
