Standard Moroccan Amazigh, also known as Standard Moroccan Tamazight, is a standardized language created by the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) in Morocco. It blends elements from Tashelhit, Central Atlas Tamazight, and Tarifit, the three main Amazigh languages in Morocco. This language has held official status in Morocco since 2011. Tamasheq is a variety of the Tuareg language, a Amazigh macro-language spoken by nomadic tribes across North Africa. It is one of three main Tuareg varieties, alongside Tamajaq and Tamahaq. Tamasheq is predominantly spoken in Mali, and has a significant presence in Burkina Faso. This video is created for educational, language awareness, and language preservation purposes.
