| Video Discription | We walk you through the process of boresighting and zeroing in your long-range rifle after your have finished setting up your scope. A solid zero is important when getting ready to do some long-range shooting. 1. Pull the bolt from the rifle and look down the bore. Line up the rifle bore with your target. 2. Look through the scope. Adjust the turrets until the reticle lines up with what you see down the bore of your rifle. Your rifle and scope are now bore sighted. 3. Load up and take a shot at your paper target. Find the impact and adjust the scope as necessary. This will rough zero your scope. 4. Take a 3 shot group at another point of aim on your target. Adjust your scope to match the center of the group. Let your barrel cool if necessary. 5. Shoot another 3 round group to confirm your previous adjustments. Repeat if necessary after any further adjustments to your turrets. 6. Set the turrets on your scope for your current zero and you're set. [PT_Yrlo-DPo] |
