Check out this slick new Aristides 060 i've been toting around lately... i am really seriously blown away here. I tried their guitars out at NAMM and was instantly impressed, and now that i've spent some quality shredding time with one, i can say that i'm in love. Very very comfy guitars to play, with some of the best fretwork i've ever seen. I assumed the guitars must be run through a PLEK machine considering how precisely the fretwork is done, but when i contacted the company, they assured me all the fret work is done by hand! Amazing. These guitars are all 1 piece, neck and body, and are made from all synthetic materials... no wood involved! The body and neck are some type of shell filled with a material called Arium, and the fretboard is made of Richlite. This one came with Seymour Duncan pickups (custom custom bridge, jazz neck), hipshot bridge and tuners, and MEC electronics. The wiring is clean as a whistle, too. The guitar is very loud acoustically, and has a good weight to it; any time i have played other synthetic material guitars, i've always thought they just didn't feel like a "real" guitar, too light and too fragile... the Aristides has a solid, sturdy, and well-built feel about them. Can't wait to get my hands on one of their 7 strings!!! Playing my guitar solo from my ol band Arc's song "Sleep". Always loved this tune. That band was awesome while it lasted. Using my Kemper Profiler and a Marshall JCM800 profile with some delay and reverb. Nothing fancy! Thanks for watching, and thanks to Aristides for building such sick guitars! [s4guBYItkMU] |
