| Video Discription | Gentleman is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language vigilante action film which was written and directed by S. Shankar in his directorial debut and was produced by K. T. Kunjumon. Gentleman starred Arjun, Madhubala and Subhashri in the lead roles with M. N. Nambiar, Manorama, Goundamani, Senthil, Charan Raj, Vineeth and Rajan P. Dev playing supporting roles. The story of Gentleman revolves around a respected Madras-based businessman who moonlights as a “robin hood" kind of a thief who steals from the rich to give it to the poor. The film was released on 30 July 1993 and became a box office success, running for over 175 days in theatres besides winning 3 South Filmfare Awards and 4 Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
