| Video Discription | Dear Artfinder Artists, My name is Tatiana, and I am one of Artfinder’s early investors. I am reaching out to you because I am going to the Syrian border to volunteer at a refugee camp 3 hours away from Aleppo and I would like to use your artwork to inspire hope. I will be going there to work with children and provide art therapy. Initially, I was expecting to work with around 300 displaced children but now after the recent happenings in Aleppo, that number is closer to 1000. One of the most valuable assets we have at Artfinder is our community of artists and we are always so surprised to see how so many different creatives can join forces and minds for different projects. In this case I am asking for your help in order to provide the children of this refugee camp with some creative hope. So how do you get involved? We would love it if you could each send 1 or more postcards with a beautiful image on the front (created by you) and on the back please write one word such as ‘hope’, ‘wish’, ‘dream’, ‘love, ‘peace’, etc, along with your name and any social handles you may have. The idea is that these postcards will be given to the children as something beautiful that they can keep and take back to their camps. We are aware that this is very last minute. If you would like to be involved, we would need the postcards to arrive by the 3rd of January 2017. The more postcards we can get to these children, the better!
