| Video Discription | Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh #Ayodhya is a city and district head quater in the Awadh region of Uttar Pradesh in India. It is famous for being the capital of the historical Kosal Empire of Ikshvaku Dynasty where lord Ram was born to the king Dasharatha. In this video we cover our 2 days one night trip to the holy city of Ayodhya. Our Ayodhya tour starts with journey from Asansol Jn to Ayodhya Jn by Jammu Tawi Express. We reach Ayodhya on the next morning. We had no prior reservation for Hotel so we walked about 1 km from the railway station and found some hotels. We chose to stay at the Shri Ram Hotel very near to the Hanuman Gadhi. After breakfast at a nearby sweet shop we visited the nearby places like Hanuman Gadhi, Kanak Bhawan and Dasharath Mahal. Then we returned to hotel for lunch. After lunch we booked a e-rickshaw and visited the Ram Janambhumi Nyas Karyalay where we saw the various artisans working on creating parts of the Ram Mandir. After a brief tour we then headed towards the Guptar Ghat of Faizabad. Here we visited the Sita Ram Temple located at the Ghat and then also visited the Gumnaami Baba samadhi next to the Ghat. After that we returned to Ayodhya and visited the Ram Ki Pauri. Here every evening Aarti is organized for the Saryu River. We witnessed the Aarti and then walked around a bit to enjoy the vibe of this beautiful place. We also grabbed some street food before returning to our hotel to call it a day. Next morning we visited the Ram Janambhumi site. Here we entered the heavily guarded ground which is the site for the construction of the Ram Mandir for Ram Lalla. No cameras were allowed so we could not take any photographs. After returning from Ram Temple we went to the nearby Birla Temple and the adjacent Birla Dharamshala. Next we had some light breakfast and then went to the nearby Raj Sadan which is the home to the royal family of Ayodhya. Next we walked a bit to visit the Valmiki Ramayan Bhawan and the Bade Hanuman Temple before returning back to our hotel. It was our final day at Ayodhya and we had a train to catch in the evening so we took some rest and then had our lunch before checking out from the hotel. Next we went to visit the International Ram Katha Sangrahalaya and then visited the Ram Ki Paudi once again. This time we also visited the Shri Nageshwar Nath Ji Temple which is one of the most sacred places of worship in the city. This temple of lord Shiva is believed to be the oldest standing structure found in Ayodhya. After that we visited the Saryu River ghat once again and took some water on our head seeking blessings from the holy river as we bid goodbye to the holy city of Ayodhya.
