| Video Discription | After the Grande Motte Boat Show, we set off on Expedition Barefoot to sail south down Rhodes to Lindos and then on towards Crete. en route, we fit the Genoa to the Furler and enjoy good light air sailing to LIndos where we say for a few nights. We explore Lindos village with it's impressive castle from 400BC, steeped in history and battles since that time! The village and anchorage are all beautiful and no wonder the ancient mariners used this harbour as the main Rhodes harbour for centuries! Checking the weather while we are there, the forecasts change with the next 35 knots blow coming through earlier than previously thought, preventing us from crossing to Crete as planned and having to take refuge in open bays on south Rhodes. The worse blow of 45 knots is expected 4 days after that so that means we have to hot tail it to a safe harbour! So come Barefoot with us as we head down the coast trying to find enough protection away from harbours for the next storm.
