I've got my device back now and it's time to take it apart to show you the connections that can go wrong causing the device to not power on, or screen to flicker when trying to power on while charging. The main issue is the battery has likely become slightly unplugged internally. Simply remove the back of the device and reseat the battery. Be careful not to damage the machine.
