VPNs aren't JUST for desktop devices anymore. In fact, I've analyzed the best VPN on Android providers to bring you three of my personal favorites that you can start using right now…
-----------------------------------------------
🌐 AtlasVPN:
-----------------------------------------------
Let's start with number 3 on my list - AtlasVPN is a free VPN on Android that comes with a dedicated Android app, and if we check the US Google Play Store user ratings, AtlasVPN is doing pretty well with 4.3 stars. So let's look at the security, and for a free VPN, AtlasVPN is quite good at it. They use top-notch encryption protocols to keep your online activities private and have both IPSec/IKEv2 and WireGuard, available on Android devices. AtlasVPN also has a strict no-logs policy, which means they don't store any information about your online activities.
The free version, of course, has its limits, and the biggest of them is the 5GB monthly data limit. Additionally, you only get access to three servers located in the Netherlands, New York, and Los Angeles, which severely limits my options. But the premium version gets rid of that and allows me to have unlimited simultaneous connections for a very reasonable price.

🔥 Surfshark VPN:
-----------------------------------------------
Okay, number two on my best VPN for Android list has to be Surfshark VPN. It comes with a dedicated Android app that's quite intuitive. If we jump to the Play Store, it has a similar rating to AtlasVPN, 4.2, with reviews seemingly liking its performance and features. How is Surfshark VPN security? They're quite impressive, they use the same top-of-the-line encryption that AltasVPN and ensure your data remains secure and private.
What puts Surfshark in second place on my Android VPN list is the Override GPS location feature. And I haven't seen this feature in many other VPNs, it doesn't just simply hide the IP address but also masks the GPS coordinates that can give away my location. Surfshark has a strict no-logs policy, meaning they don't keep any records of your online activities. And it's not just them saying that it is, Surfshark has been independently audited on its no-log policy.
-----------------------------------------------
💎NordVPN:
-----------------------------------------------
And the number one VPN app for Android devices, in my opinion, is NordVPN. Looking at the Play Store user's rating, the NordVPN Android app has a solid 4.5 score. Making it the best user-rated VPN on this list, and well, for good reason.
When it comes to security, NordVPN provides a comprehensive set of features. They use robust encryption protocols to ensure your data is kept safe and secure. With features like Double VPN and Onion Over VPN, your online activities are layered with extra protection.
NordVPN's Android app gives you NordLynx and OpenVPN tunneling protocols. If NordLynx doesn't sound familiar, that's because it's NordVPNs creation. They took the speed of the WireGuard protocol and improved its security as well as stability. As my number 1, NordVPN also has a good Android kill switch feature. It works great on cutting off my internet connection in almost any scenario. Though, just like Surfshark, this feature only works with Android version 7 and later.
