We see Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) working as Saul Goodman as Mr. Acker’s (Barry Corbin) lawyer. Jimmy is in his element running a series of scams to hold off construction as Kim tries to change Kevin’s mind at Mesa Verde. Kevin proves to be stubborn not wanting to let Acker win. Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) is heading in a dangerous direction in season 5 episode 5, and she doesn’t take her out when she’s given a chance by Rich Schweikart. She takes things to the next level employing Mr. X through Saul’s connections, but he can’t find any dirt on Kevin. This leaves things up in the air for Kim and Jimmy as the episode comes to an end. In episode 5 we don’t see Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton) and Nacho Varga (Michael Mando). Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathon Banks) is in Mexico after being transported there by Gus Fring’s (Giancarlo Esposito) people after being stabbed in the street fight. Mike is kept alive by Gus’s doctor who we met in Breaking Bad. We also see that Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian) is reaching out to Jimmy in episode 5 to follow up on his offer of a job at HHM. Mike also got a phone call from Jimmy, but he doesn’t have any interest in the job while he’s in Mexico.
