| Video Discription | I wasn't going to upload this, but was surprised at the number of dog park visitors that didn't know a couple of tips. 1. Don't bring an overly excited or overly insecure dog into the park on a leash, they either become territorial and don't want any dogs to approach you or fearful and the dogs in the park respond incorrectly to it. 2. A really effective method to disengage two dogs in a fight is the wheelbarrow method, grab both their hind legs and lift at the same time moving backwards. Don't hurt their legs just be firm. kicking hitting and putting yourself in between them gets you possibly bit. I would recommend doing it to both dogs if possible to keep them from reengaging. However in this fight doing just the ABD ended the issue. I would also add, choking the aggressor out with their collar or a leash is the next step. [5642TUsS5jk] |
