The lithium-ion battery capacity: 12 kWh gross (part of it is available for driving). BMW claims 745Le xDrive can cover around 50 - 54 km (~31 - 33 mi) in all-electric mode (eDrive). I checked it in a city and on highway/ motorway. Results: 44 km (~27 mi) in real test (eco-driving in a city) and 34 km (21 mi) at 120 km/h (75 mph).
