| Video Discription | National Geographic came and shot this film for their series "Megastructures". This is the Rio-Antirio Bridge in Greece, which was completed in less than 6 years (1998-2004) and right on time for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens Greece! I was fortunate to work in several positions and phases of the construction as a mechanical/quality engineer and put my name to such a magnificent structure that will be used for centuries to come! I was also blessed to work in the operation of the bridge for 4 years after its completion and I was featured in this film (@48')! I hope you enjoy this awesome film. [xdu3Sjomwts] |
