When building your own consulting business, one of the hardest tasks is to design your initial offer. Don’t waste time trying to create the perfect offer for your first few clients, you’ve never done this before after all, so the initial few clients are going to be a learning experience. I recommend you start small when designing your first offer. Ideally, It should be about 90 days. This is so you have long enough that you can provide your client with real results, but it’s also short enough that you aren’t stuck with them long-term if you don’t enjoy working with them. Another thing to keep in mind is that your process is going to be far from perfect in the beginning, but don’t worry about perfecting the process yet, it’s too early for that. At the start, you’re going to be inefficient, and you won’t be entirely sure what to even expect, but the only way to remedy this is with experience.
