We’ve gotten many requests to make a halal version of this and luckily we managed to find Halal ingredients for this especially the radish cake. So here you go !....this is how you do it.... Of course making it at home we don’t have the luxury of a hawker style charcoal fire but after working on this for a Home cooking setting the results were pretty awesome. The pickled salted vege here is called chai por, be sure to mention that and it’s a common ingredient and it goes by that name. Start with a drizzle of the Caramel dark soya sauce and later on in the video you will see that we added more to adjust The color and taste which is dependent on individual taste. Overall this was a great video to make. I really miss this and I am finally happy to be able to make a halal version for my friends It definitely taste delicious. Prepare to work on those arms as you can see its a fair amount of stirring. Great small time exercise in the kitchen for you.
