| Video Discription | Christ Inversion was a band that several of my old partners in crime were in: Tommy Buckley of Soilent Green & Crowbar, Philip Anselmo (aka Anton Crowley) of Pantera & Down, Wayne Fabra of Graveyard Rodeo & Necrophagia, Ross Karpelman of Drip & Krewe of Clearlight, Jay Gracianette of Graveyard Rodeo & Haate, & Kevin Bond of Crawlspace & Superjoint Ritual. Gary Hebert of Graveyard Rodeo & New Religion had been the band's first drummer, before being replaced by Tommy. Christ Inversion made two recordings: the first one was a self-titled, six-song effort. It's since been referred to as....'Obey the Will of Hell'. The track you hear here is from their second recording: '13th Century Luciferian Rites'. The first tape was given to me by either Phil or Ross right after it was recorded, when I worked at an early incarnation of their House of Shock haunted house. I was playing guitar in Apostasy at the time & we used to do shows w/ some of the bands that these guys were in: Soilent Green, Drip, & The Satanic, to name a few. The second tape, I got from Tommy Buckley about a year later, shortly after the recording had been made. "If you are in a weakened or saddened state in your life, this music can harm you spiritually & physically. Christ Inversion's music & lyrics do to the human mind what AIDS does to the homosexual race: reaps & destroys relentlessly. High Priest Wayne Fabra & Satanic Magister Anton Crowley are truly evil, violent, ruthless fiends. There is no false hype or egotistic ranting. He went to school w/ my brother Tracy (R.I.P.). Wayne was a founding member of Graveyard Rodeo, who he played drums for. He drummed on a few Necrophagia releases as well. One of the Christ Inversion shows that I attended was at Zeppelin's Music Hall in Metairie, LA, which was owned by a pair of brothers, Joey (R.I.P.) & Guy, who I became good friends w/ over the years. Wayne breathed fire in the venue, catching the ceiling on fire in the process. The fire department had to be called. The place was nearly burned to the ground...
