| Video Discription | Livestreaming from within the palace grounds isn't so good because of weak signal so we're going to walk the entire perimeter of the moat instead! This is the very center and heart of Tokyo where the Edo Castle was once located and the official residence of the Emperor of Japan. Because of this important place, like many other castles in the world, a giant moat was built to help defend it from invaders. The original moats were much more extensive, with some parts of an outer moat filled in or converted into recreational sites. The inner main moat is mostly still intact and we'll be sticking to that part for this walk. [QXH4f8YdnkM] |
