| Video Discription | Lawyers for the Georgia Innocence Project working for the man convicted of the double murder at a southeast Georgia church, said in a court filing that DNA evidence found in 1985 has now been linked to another man. Harold and Thelma Swain were killed at their church in Camden County. AJC’s Joshua Sharpe’s reporting found problems with a former suspect’s alibi, which lead lawyers from the Georgia Innocence Project to get a new DNA test from hairs caught in the frame of a pair of glasses found next to the bodies. The test results matched the former suspect, which ultimately questions the conviction of the man who has been in prison for the past 20 years for the murders.
