| Video Discription | In this YouTube video, we will share some tips for making selections even easier in Fusion 360. All these tips will be centered around one key on the keyboard: On Mac computers, the Command key, and PCs, the control key. A common user scenario we see is attempting to select a joint origin that might be hard to click. What you can do is move the mouse until you see the joint order that you’re trying to select. Then, you can hold the command key on Mac or Ctrl on a PC to limit the options, thereby we can easily move the mouse around and just select the intended joint origin. Once we’ve done that, all we have to do is select the meeting joint origin and now we have our assembly! We can use the same method to add to or remove from a selection inside of a feature that has already been started. In this video demonstration, we have eight faces selected and we can extrude them down to perform a cut. Now we accidentally selected the wrong profile. All that’s needed is to hold the command key on Mac or Ctrl on a PC. Then, we can deselect this profile, and while still holding down the key, can add another profile. And once we let go of the key, we are all set to finish the EXTRUDE command. Our last example: We’ll start the SHELL command. We want to select a particular face to remove its material and shell it out. Now it may appear that we’re not able to remove these faces because we can't select them. If we want to remove all of the internal circular faces, all we have to do is hold the command key on Mac or Ctrl on PC. And now we can add these selections to the faces that we’d like to remove inside of the SHELL command.
