| Video Discription | May 25, 2004 - Two days following Game 2 of the 2004 Western Conference Finals, Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser discussed an elbow delivered by Los Angeles Lakers forward Karl Malone to the throat of Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Darrick Martin. Malone did not shy away from responsibility for the hit, suggesting that teammate Derek Fisher was roughed up by Latrell Sprewell and Wally Szczerbiak earlier in the contest. "I'm not going to let you hurt a teammate of mine," Malone said. Malone was assessed a flagrant foul and ejected for the play but avoided a suspension.
