But Salman’s first choice for the film was DeepikaPadukone. But this time also Deepika couldn’t do the film for some serious reasons.Deepikadropped down the film as she thought that as a female lead role, she won’t get the proper exposure. 2. Jab Tak Hai Jaan : Yash Chopra’s first decision to play Shah Rukh Khan’s affection for the movie was not Katrina Kaif in the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. However, Deepika Padukone Rejected the Movie. she studied the script and did not like it. The movie became one of the highest-grossing movies. 3. Fast and Furious 7 : Deepika Padukone was offered a role in the 2015 Hollywood movie Fast And Furious 7. Any other Bollywood actor would have accepted the offer to star in a Hollywood movie. However, Deepika Padukone had to turn the offer down as she was busy shooting for Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela. 4. Sultan : Anushka Sharma’s role in the movie Sultan was loved by the audience. Deepika again denied that role. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone has never been featured opposite Salman Khan, in a movie. 5. Kick : Deepika Padukone was also approached for a song in the movie Kick which was Salman Khan’s project and she rejected it and the song was performed by Nargis Fakri. 6. Dhoom 3 : Katrina Kaif’s role ‘Aaliyah’ had earlier been offered to Deepika in Dhoom 3.. The on-screen character had a tough schedule at the time. She could not allot dates for the movie. Once more, Deepika’s role the film went to Katrina Kaif. 7. Jai Ho : Salman Khan wanted to cast Deepika in ‘Jai Ho’ as the female lead. He thought that Deepika was best for that role. But Deepika again rejected Salman’s film offer and the film was a blockbuster hit. Salman launched Daisy Shah instead of Deepika and Deepika probably regretted for not doing this film later. 8. Roy : Roy was initially offered to Deepika Padukone, but she turned the offer down. Jacqueline Fernandez was then selected to play the character. Reportedly, she turned this one down as she was not ready to share the screen with her ex-boyfriend. 9. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo : Deepika Padukone, who was running busy due to her tight schedules, had to turn this one down as well. This film also went on to be a blockbuster at the box-office. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was another movie starring Salman Khan that was turned down by Deepika Padukone. 10. Shuddhi : Deepika Padukone chose Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani over Shuddhi. And her comments on the yet not released film ended up rubbing Karan Johar the wrong way.
