| Video Discription | Like - Share - Subscribe Nameri National Park is a national park in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India, about 35 km from Tezpur. Nameri is about 9 km from Chariduar, the nearest village. Nameri shares its northern boundary with the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh. On 19-Sep-2020: Our goal for the day was pretty ambitious and we wanted to make it to Kaziranga and experience the famous safari. I would say we were unprepared and it was an impromptu destination. We went all the way to figure out the park is closed to visitors due to the recent flood situation. So, we changed our plans and choose another (over) ambitious plan of reaching Bomdilla. However, the weather and the beautiful scenery kept us busy and we ended up in the middle of nowhere. Only question that kept bugging us was where are we going to sleep? But eventually, google maps helped us for the first time and took us to the Nameri National Park. Where we just paid INR 2,800 for Dinner, accommodation, and Breakfast.
