Learn how a diagnosis isn't the end, but the beginning of mastering your own story. Join Azamat on his talk as he explores how challenges can be reshaped into powerful tools for personal growth. Azamat is a literature student at Nazarbayev University. He founded and presides over the Philosophy Club "Vox," and is an active member of the Poetry Club. As a research assistant, he explores Soviet archives of Kazakh literature, and he also teaches Russian to professors and international students. Living with type 1 diabetes, Azamat has transformed his challenge into a story of triumph. With that, he has brilliant insights regarding gaining control over his condition.
