| Video Discription | Rolex GMT Master 2 "Pepsi" Discontinued? IS IT HAPPENING? You know. for quite a while I thought this was just speculation - but I am starting to think this might happen. Or at the very least, you need to know the GMT BLRO is extremely difficult to produce and therefore extremely hard to get at the moment. There are 2 big reasons I think the BLRO might get the chop: 1. The bezel is extremely difficult to produce. Red is infamously difficult to produce in ceramic and on top of that, creating a bi-colour ceramic bezel is hard work. And 2. The way Rolex is positioning the GMT line and the branding language they are adopting doesn't make sense for the Pepsi. Every other model has a colour-black scheme. The Root beer? black, brown. The sprite? Black, green. The batman? Black, blue. Today we are speculating if Rolex will actually discontinue the Pepsi, and it is just that... Speculation. I do not know for sure if this will happen, but I don't think it is unreasonable to think so!
