I wanted to make them in order to show you what there is to see outside the city and the best way to explore is by motorbike. This video is all about the mountain that overlooks the city called Doi Suthep. The road up is one of the highlights of visiting but there are also plenty of places to see along the way such as some waterfalls (which were sadly closed when I was visiting), temples (Wat Pha Lat and the showpiece Wat Doi Suthep), plus Bhubing Palace and the Hmong Doi Pui Village. NOTE: If visiting Bhuping Palace make sure you take a pair of trousers and some kind of wraparound to cover your legs as it's a requirement before entering. Also, try and time your visit to coincide with the flowering roses (Jan/Feb).
