| Video Discription | It's curious to me that no-one has ever thought to combine John Arlott's celebrated TMS coverage with the scraps of surviving newsreel. I think the effect is poignant. Among the photographs are two, from The Graphic and The Illustrated London News, which are so rare as never to have been reproduced. Something I'd not noticed until I multiplied the frame rate: Bradman very nearly trips over his own feet as he begins his trudge back to the pavilion. Also, the footage of Hollies, taken from the original newsreel, is clearly not of the deliveries he bowls to Bradman.
