| Video Discription | Defeating all seven bosses in Dragon is Dead's early access without taking damage. When the world is threatened by a little D&D (namely dragons and demons) it's up to your character to engage in Diablo shenanigans and farm bosses for epic loot. The skill tree and loot system is basically that of Diablo 4 only set as a 2D roguelike with some really nice pixel art. There's two classes available - Berserker and Spellblade - but you begin as the Spellblade and I'm not sure what caused the second class to unlock. I basically focused frost skills which make normal mooks much easier to deal with (but probably wasn't ideal for bosses). You keep your gear on death but lose levels/artifacts so there's plenty of room to try different builds. There's no key rebinding and the default has dash and jump the opposite of what I usually prefer (which caused so many mistakes) and there's probably more annoyances with early access that I'm not recalling. Like Trinity Fusion, this roguelike saves your progress to the current map if you quit to menu (provided you don't die) so I was able to use this to practice the bosses until I could beat them hitless which saved a good bit of time as opposed to starting a new run for a single try.
