| Video Discription | The UK's first production built battery powered train is now undergoing testing on the UK Mainline this week. The Class 230's are upcycled London Underground D Stock Trains which were originally built by Metro-Cammell in 1978 and withdrawn from the District Line in 2017. Vivarail are now converting them into Diesel Multiple Units, Battery Electric Multiple Units and Diesel Battery Hybrid Units as a cheap and emission friendly train for the national rail network. During it's third day of mainline testing, Vivarail's 230002 arrives into Moreton-in-Marsh from Evesham.
