| Video Discription | "Gott Erhalte, Gott Beschütze" ("God Preserve, God Protect") was the imperial anthem of the Cisleithanian (Austrian) half of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy (1848-1918) from 1854 to its dissolution after the First World War in 1918. It is a version of the 'Kaiserhymne' used by the Habsburgs since 1797. German lyrics: Gott erhalte, Gott beschütze Unsern Kaiser, unser Land!
