| Video Discription | Dramatic footage shows Storm Kathleen battering a Cornish town yesterday and an unwisely parked car being swamped by waves threatening to carry it into the harbour. The video was taken on Saturday afternoon, April 6, outside the Ship Inn pub, in Porthleven, and shows huge waves crashing into the harbour as onlookers can be heard screaming. A red car can be seen parked on the harbourfront and is almost swept away by the water. Patrick Aston, who captured the dramatic footage at high tide yesterday, said that, while the car luckily didn't end up in the harbour, it was lifted closer to the edge a few times by the force of the water. The dramatic scenes came amid heavy wind and rain brought on by Storm Kathleen which battered Devon and Cornwall until around 10pm yesterday.
