| Video Discription | Both of these guitars are awesome. The Furch is new to me and probably the most noticeable differences are the projection of the Furch..it has a BIG LOUD voice which isn't obvious in the video and then the weight distribution is a little different. Aside from the volume I think the sound is pretty well captured. The Yamaha voicing seems more refined and to me a little less harsh. Furch is very sensitive and picks up a lot of string noise and overtones which can be good or bad depending on your style of playing and that is probably what I am describing as harsh, more obvious subtle noises, harmonic overtones picking and squeaks. I wanted to have a winner in my eyes but stye are both amazing.. If I was forced to sell one the Furch would go.. and yet it is probably the one I'm going to chose for gigs.. because Really like the neck shape and spacing.
