Today I explore a secret side route that runs through an area known as Sheep Springs that was once a copper mine. This route is not on the main trail maps and brochure guides I have. This is technically a shortcut to the lookout at the top as it bypasses the upper ridge and heads directly to the launchpad but it might have taken more time to ride this route being I was crawling along exploring it for the first time. The cutoff is easy to miss, I have ridden this way hundreds up times and never noticed it before. It is narrow and a little scary towards the end there. Warning, if you are afraid of heights don't look down! LOCATION - Recorded last October at Shasta Chappie OHV Area in Northern California USA. MY RIDE - 2021 Yamaha Grizzly 700 4x4 ATV with EPS - The quad is all stock in this video with the factory MAXXIS AT26x8-12 tires in the front and AT26x10-12 in the rear and zero modifications other than rerouting gas tank breather hose. This is the perfect outdoor machine for exploring new areas with a large gas tank and comfortable seat.
