Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continues to lead such efforts on the platform of MQI to restore and mend the broken relationship with our beloved Prophet (pbuh). He set up Gosha-e-Durood on the 1st of December 2005 at the central secretariat of MQI which has a unique place after the Two Holy Mosques where Durood and salutations continue to be offered 24/7 throughout 365 days of the year. People from near and far join the Gosha-e-Durood for ten days, keep fast during the day and offer greetings and salutations on the Holy Prophet (pbuh) for 24 hours. Thousands of Halaqa-e-Durood-o-Fikr have been set up in other cities and countries as well in order to include more people in this form of worship. They join these gatherings and enlighten their souls and hearts with the fragrance of the remembrance of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). In order to present the Durood & greetings offered both individually as well as collectively at these Halaqas in the monthly spiritual gathering held under the banner of MQI, the Minhaj Internet Bureau has developed a mobile application by the name of "Gosha-e-Durood". By using this mobile app, people can easily convey the number of Durood that they have recited. This app is available for download both at Apple and Android platforms. Important features Having a very attractive layout, the holy Names of Allah and His Prophet (pbuh), Durood-o-Pak, counter rosary, matters and issues of Namaz, commandments about Hajj and Umrah, books on Durood and Wazaif, documentary of Halaqa-e-Durood, and the speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam on Fazail-e-Durood-o-Salam are part of this mobile application. One verse and Hadith along with their Urdu translation is shared daily on this app in order to further strengthen the relationship with the Holy Quran and Hadith. The mobile application has a record of Durood offered by more than 8000 residents of Gosha-e-Durood as well as the record of 6000 Halaqa-e-Durood and 7000 Durood offered individually. If you have become regular in sending greetings and salutations on the Holy Prophet (pbuh), then download the application, make your account and start submitting the number of Durood for inclusion in the monthly spiritual gathering's count.
