Ze krijgen stuk voor stuk vijf afleveringen de tijd om elk vier talenten aan hun team toe te voegen. Ze doen dit niet door met mooie praatjes een talent om zijn of haar vinger te winden, maar door echt geld in te zetten. De scouts krijgen ieder 5.000 euro per auditie-aflevering om te investeren in nieuw Nederlands toptalent. Maar ze zijn gewaarschuwd: alleen de scout die het meeste geld biedt, mag een talent verwelkomen in zijn of haar team.
