| Video Discription | Blanchland is a very quaint and somewhat hidden village in the North Pennines. Situated right on the border of Northumberland and County Durham, it has an interesting history of Monks, Nobles, Border Reivers, Jacobites and... Ghosts. I look into the history of the famous massacre of the Monks of the Premonstratensian Order of Monks that occupied the Abbey here. Border Reivers from Scotland put them to the sword and their spirits have remained restless ever since. Join me on a tour around the village and decide for yourself whether this is one of England's most haunted locations.
