The subconscious contains all the memories and data that we experience as woe, suffering, pain and separation. The inner child (subconscious) is the storage house of all those emotional experiences we experience as suffering. So in this guided meditation, we are connecting with the inner child to release the hurtful memories so that we can be free and be as God created us. This cannot be done through force but only through awareness, love, and forgiveness.
