ABOUT US
We left our home in Southern California and moved to North Idaho in the summer of 2022 to begin building a family compound homestead in North Idaho.
David was a firefighter/paramedic at LA City Fire Department for 22 years. He also served in the NAVY Reserve for 26 years. He is now a Research Scientist with Johns Hopkins University specializing in the standardization of drones in the international field of public safety.
Jamie was a high school art and ceramics teacher and is now a homeschool teacher and content creator for this channel.
Alina and Isla are aspiring paleontologists, geologists, wildlife conservationists, engineers, bakers, artists, and YouTubers.
We are teaming up with Jamie's dad, Dave, and his wife, Carol, to develop our 2 adjacent 10-acre lots near Sandpoint, Idaho. Our 20 acres of land is comprised of forest, meadows, and about 1,300 feet of year-round, fresh-water creek. David, Jamie, Alina, Isla, and Ranger are temporarily living in the mobile home. Dave & Carol are living in their newly built house as they continue to finish miscellaneous projects. There is also a large shop, a well, septic, and electricity. Our plans for development include 2 family homes, a garden, a greenhouse with aquaponics, chickens, goats, an apiary for honey bees, a fruit tree orchard, a pond, a woodshop, a ceramics studio, a shooting range, a treehouse with a zipline, and more!
