| Video Discription | Denmark's Hitmakers' main claim to fame was probably that they supported the Beatles at the KB Hallen in Copenhagen in 1964.at the start of the Fab's one and only world tour. They originally formed in 1960 playing Cliff and the Shadows type music before switching styles in 1963 having been influenced by the new sounds coming from Liverpool. They signed to Sonet in 1963 with the line up Jørgen Wulff Krabbenhøft, vocals, guitar; Steen Bergstrøm, guitar; Bjarne Hørup Hørman de la Motte, bass and Torben Orls Weinholt Sardorf, drums and released a cover of "I Saw Her Standing There" as their debut single. In 1966 they switched labels to Philips and, during a short tour of the UK, they recorded their version of this song which reached no. 3 in the Danish charts. The band expanded their line up in 1967, adding an extra guitarist, and changed their name to the Floor changing styles yet again this time to reflect the "Flower Power" that was popular at the time.
