Lewis River reforestation harvests 4.5 million trees a year, on their 52 acre farm. Stratification of seed is discussed. Tarp fumigation of the ground to kill all seeds and bacteria is done. Most trees are planted as seeds in the field the first year then separated and planted farther apart for the second year. Watering and fertilizer gives them double growth in a year.
