When connecting the cables to the socket, the Brown cable must connect to the terminal marked L on the socket, Blue cable to the terminal marked N and Yellow/Green cable to the terminal marked E or earth symbol. When connecting the wires, ensure that the terminals are well tightened, to prevent high resistance at the terminals which can cause the terminal to burn from excess heat.
