| Video Discription | Going to a foreign country can be really confusing! Make sure you tune in to get different travel tips and budget travel tips from us while we travel the world! We will be going to some very sought after destinations as well as exploring the unknown! We currently budget for our travel and keep a goal of 100$ a day. This budget allows us to travel long term rather than having to take short trips. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Perhaps London? In this video we covered tips about travel and how to save money while traveling. @ transportation trips for travel around London and in the U.K are 1. Get an Oyster card if you are visiting Greater London for more than 2-3 days and expect to use ANY public transportation. The oyster card is a one time cost of 5 pounds but you can pre load money onto it making local travel much easier since you won't have to keep buying individual tickets. Another WONDERFUL thing about the oyster card is that there is a daily cap on how much they will charge you per day. If we haven't lost you yet, there are different zones that make up greater London and in those zones there are different boroughs. Zone 1 starts at the city center of London and as you get further away from the center you have zone 2,3,4... 2. Trainline. This is not a sponsored promotion. Trainline is the best app that we have found for saving money. The reason being is because you can buy an annual rail card and save it on this app. When you purchase an annual rail card ( age group, seniors, two together, etc.) you will get huge discounts on travel outside of London. For example: Our rail card is called the "two together" rail card and it is for 2 people traveling together which best suits our needs. We paid an annual fee of 30 Pounds and it paid for itself on the first trip as you can see in this video. We also show you the app on this video. We highly suggest doing both of these if you want to lower your transportation costs while traveling. In this video we went from Croydon to London and down to dover for under 30 pounds.
