I've always wanted to do a video on macro photography. My first lens (other than an 18-55 kit) was the Nikon 105mm macro, and I shot with it almost exclusively for a year. Macro photography is the reason I became a photographer in the first place, so hopefully this video inspires someone else down the same path! The best part about macro photography to me is that you can take world-class images literally in your backyard. It's also one of the best cures for "photographer's block" because you never know what you might find, and there's just so much to be inspired by. Anyway, I hope this video clears up some of the technical hurdles of macro photography.
