After that we headed straight to srisailam dam. There are two viewpoints on the way. We visited on oct 2nd 2020. Roads are awesome. Total journey time is around 4 hours. There is a ghat road on the way. toll gates are also there. To enter into ghat road you have to pay 50/- for four wheeler either way. To enter into temple parking you have to pay 100/-. To enter into andhra border you have to pay 50/- after srisailam dam.. At temple free darshan is avialabe only for the people who booked online. For seegra darshana you have to pay 200/- for athi seegra darshana you have to pay 500/- for any other details ask me in comments. About dam: The Srisailam Dam is constructed across the Krishna River in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh near Srisailam temple town and is the 2nd largest capacity working hydroelectric station in the country. The dam was constructed in a deep gorge in the Nallamala Hills in between Kurnool and Mahabubnagar districts, 300 m (980 ft) above sea level. It is 512 m (1,680 ft) long, 145 metres (476 ft) maximum height and has 12 radial crest gates. Srisailam Dam Backwaters of Krishna River The Srisailam project began in 1960, initially as a power project.
