Ingredients:
2 cups of heavy whipping cream (500ml)
1 tsp of vanilla extract (5ml)
14 oz of sweetened condensed milk (396 g)

Mixer
Spatula
plastic wrap (optional)

Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor. Today I am going to show you how to make ice cream, really easy ice cream, only 3 ingredients, and we are not going to need an ice cream maker, this will be a vanilla ice cream. Really easy to do, super yummy, let’s get started. All right first what we are going to do is start with 2 cups of heavy whipping cream, or about 500 ml, okay now we are going to beat this with a hand mixer or stand mixer until it gets nice and fluffy, peaks are forming. Okay, so about like that, until our cream is nice and whipped. And now what we are going to do is we are going to add one tsp of vanilla extract, and then we are going to add one can or about 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk, and I had put this can in the refrigerator, to get it nice and cool. Okay and then what we are going to do is mix this together on low speed just until it is nice and incorporated. Okay, it is all nice and thick, and now all we need to do is go ahead and transfer it over to this bowl or whatever container you want to use. All right so let’s go ahead and transfer it over, come in here with our spatula, make sure we get all of this nice ice cream base in there. Then what I like to do is get some plastic wrap and go ahead and put this on here. It is not completely necessary but it helps to prevent ice crystals from forming. Not completely necessary though, then put your lid on, then we go ahead and freeze this for 4 to 6 hours. Okay then after we take it out of the freezer after about 4 hours it will be more of a soft serve, if you want it to harden up even more, leave it in for a couple of more hours, or you can leave it in over night if you like. Go ahead and take this off, and there we go there is our ice cream. I am going to go ahead and scoop myself some up. It is amazing, look at that. And there we go, homemade ice cream, without an ice cream maker. All right our ice cream is done. This homemade vanilla ice cream is really easy to make, if I can do it, you can do it.
