The information technology sector is a segment of the U.S. economy that is the collection of companies here in the United States that focus on Information Technology businesses, such as Application Software, Communications Equipment, Electronic Equipment & Instruments, Internet Services & Infrastructure, Technology Hardware, Storage & Periphera and many others.
